I just had to take some pictures of how the kids were sleeping. Actually I couldn't even reach Isaiah to take a picture because he was under the backseat on the floor. And at some point Brooks moved to the floor as well and was partially buried under blankets and other random stuff.
After everyone woke up Joel made some pancakes for breakfast and I hung up sheets and clothes to dry out.

We reached Vienna around 11:00 and parked near Schönbrunn Palace. We had fun exploring the palace grounds, the Schönbrunn gardens are incredibly beautiful!

We stopped at a McDonalds around 1:30 for lunch and then left for Slovakia. Some more views as we left the city . . .
We drove through a tiny part of the Czech Republic (about an hour or so) on our way to Slovakia . . .
And then around 6:00 we reached our final destination: the little town of Vrbovce. We were so happy to finally meet Amber and her daughter Sophie, who run the Oasis retreat center. We had a yummy spaghetti dinner, got to chat with Amber for a bit and then went to bed early - everyone was exhausted from the previous night's storm! We felt so thankful to fall into such comfortable beds!!
