When we only get to see each other every few years, family pictures are a must! 

On our last evening with Joel's family we went to a park and took some pictures together. I just love how these turned out!

Summer 2016 in America: Week 8

These kids had a blast at various pools this summer. I am thankful that my littlest two are getting really brave in the water and Isaiah was almost swimming till the end of the summer!

We spent about 2 hours one evening having fun with sparklers and shutter speeds on the camera. This was my favorite picture from the evening.

We were glad that we got to spend an evening with some friends that live near us in Turkey. It was such a treat to be able to see them Stateside!

Oh my goodness, this kid! He is the cutest and it is an absolute delight to watch him enjoy the pool so much!

These two shared a bed while we were at Grammy and Pop's house and I always found them in the weirdest positions. Half of the time, Brooks would fall out of bed (but not wake up) and sleep the rest of the night on the floor. Haha!

Summer 2016 in America: Week 6

Bingo with Pop-Pop

We had a spontaneous Friday night sleepover at my brother and sister-in-law's. Without batting an eye they hosted our crazy family of 7 for the night. The cousins played so nicely together and us adults stayed up way too late, ate ice cream (DUH!) and just had a good time being all together. And when we woke up in the morning, Rachael made us her famous pancakes!!

83 years young!! My grandma is pretty much the coolest. We had so much fun riding the fourwheeler through the orchard one evening!

Thankful we were able to get this group of people together again! So much history with these guys!!

We were able to get my Dad's side of the family all together (except Adam and Melanie who are still in Turkey - we missed you guys!!). What an amazing family that I am so thankful to be a part of!

We had a great time with Daryl & Lindsay - these guys came to visit us in Turkey last summer. It was so fun to spend an evening with them and catch up.
