Children's Day 2017 in photos!

April 23, 2017: What a special day celebrating with the kids at their school and enjoying a morning full of fun traditional dances! This is one of our favorite holidays, enjoy the pictures!

Yohanis had fun putting Brooks in an old costume from when he was in kindergarten. Brooks was a little bummed that he didn't get to actually dance, but he felt so special being all dressed up like his brothers and sister.

Isaiah rocked it! He was so serious the whole time though, fully concentrating on not messing up any of the steps.

Friday night family movie night all snuggled up on the couch. Lately we've been having fun introducing the kids to movies Joel and I watched when we were kids: The Mighty Ducks, Cool Runnings, Dennis the Menace, Harry and the Hendersons, Homeward Bound, Home Alone, Rookie of the Year - just to name a few. It has been fun reliving my childhood!

New shirts from Mom-Mom!

Visiting our Syrian friends. My friend, Aasta, brought along her violin one week because the girl on the bottom right used to take violin lessons back in Syria, it was fun to see her eyes light up as Aasta played and then she got a turn to try it out too. And of course Brooks always enjoys our weekly visits because he is spoiled with tea and coffee, our friends just ADORE him!

Since the weather has warmed up, we usually have our Friday night pizza on a picnic blanket in the backyard.

During the month of March each of the kids got to go on a special date with Mommy. I love having one-on-one time with my kiddos!
