Air Show
A few weekends ago we went to an airshow with some friends. The kids were so excited because they all love, love, love airplanes - especially Colson. He is in the paper airplane stage right now and asks me to make him an airplane about a dozen times a day. Of course my paper airplanes aren't nearly as good as Daddy's, but I'm sure getting a lot of practice :) And whenever we are outside and he spots an airplane in the sky he will stop whatever he is doing and watch it until it disappears from his sight.
We didn't last as long as we would have liked at the airshow since it was extremely hot and the planes were LOUD, which the kids did not like at all. And Colson was a little disappointed because apparently he thought he would get a ride in an airplane. But they all stood there with their hands over their ears watching the planes in awe.
It was a fun afternoon and I'm glad the kids could experience it!
Colson would love living in our house! we are a 2 minute drive from the airport and are directly under a flight pattern! the planes come in close and loud! when the airshow comes, its pretty amazing, but a little scary to have flying so very close to our home! the Blue Angels will be here in July, i can't wait to see the twins reaction!
