Let me just start out by saying that Joel is such a good dad! Colson and Vienna just adore their Daddy. He's always coming up with fun things to do with the kids. Like this afternoon, he brought Vienna's old crib mattress into the living room and surrounded it with the couch cushions and the kids had a blast jumping around.
Here's some pictures from our fun Sunday afternoon.

Hehe, I love everyone's faces in this picture :)

Colson loves being thrown into the air, the pictures looks like he was close to hitting the ceiling, but don't worry, he was far from it.

Now Vienna's turn

The kids and daddy all pooped after more than an hour of jumping around and singing and dancing.
Now the kids are all in bed (I think they'll sleep good tonight) and Joel is in the kitchen making baklava. Some nights he just gets in the mood to bake and I love it!
We had to ask our next door neighbor to borrow her rolling pin. We had no idea what the word was in Turkish, but we told her we were going to make baklava and we made some hand gestures and she figured out what we meant. Then she laughed and told us that baklava is so hard to make. Joel loves a challenge though. If it turns out good, we'll take some over for our neighbors to try.
Soooooo, what was YOUR Sunday afternoon like? Does anyone read this? Come on, people, leave me some comments ;)
Alright, so I meant to comment on this one. Having a niece & nephew that are adopted, we know some of the challenges that go along w/ adopting. Glad to hear things are moving right along for you guys!
